This site is dedicated to the memory of David Marshall.

David Marshall passed away May 18th, 2011 after a courageous battle with kidney cancer. His life long interest in books and research led him to pursue his Masters in Library Science. A lover of nature, he could often be found gardening, hiking, or walking along the ocean. He could also be found at the nearby YMCA, playing basketball with the local youth. He was an extremely effective advocate for families of children with special needs, persevering regardless of any obstacle or challenge. His son Adam, whom he is now reunited with, inspired his passion. He is survived by his wife and best friend of 33 years, Karla, daughter Corey, sister Patricia, niece Brandy, and countless loving friends and family. Memorial service to be held May 28th, 2011 at 11 AM, with luncheon to follow at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 532 West Lemon Avenue in Monrovia. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to MACH1 (moveachildhigher.org) or the Santa Anita YMCA.
